Thank you for your interest in Feiden Design. While the company is still young, many years have gone into it's developement and growth. In 2000 I was attending Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, where I was first introduced to computers as a career. I had been majoring in Microbiology; however, I never really felt like it was for me. As one of my electives, I decided that I would take a computer programming class. I discovered that I had a natural affinity for computers, and they offered a much greater appeal. In fact, I quickly learned that I enjoyed working with computers much more than I did in any other of my classes. Unfortunately, I had to take time off from school and it would be a while before I could return.

During this time away from school, I spent most of my time raising my family. However, I never really gave up my hopes of one day returning to my pursuit of learing about computers. I spent all my free time on the computer, teaching myself about basic programming and web design. As I would look at internet pages, I found myself wondering if I could create a better and more friendly page. Therefore I decided that if I was ever able to return to school, it would be for web design. In 2009, I was able to finally return to my studies. Now I look forward to answering those very questions.

Now that I have finally returned to school, I am in the process of obtaining my ultimate goal. This is to create and establish my own personal web design company. In the Spring of 2011 I should have the honor of obtaining my Associates of Arts in Visual Communication with a specialty in Web Design. Soon I will continue on with my studies and receive my Bachelor's. In the mean time, I will be taking necessary steps to start my business. This includes doing web pages for not only myself, but for others as well. As a means of getting experience I am doing an Internship where I am creating a web site for a prosperous doctor's office. I look forward to the challenge and growth this project will bring me.
